HO Scale

The Union Valley Central Railroad (UVC) is a two room 27’ by 14’ HO scale layout with a single mainline. It has loops on each end for continuous running. This layout was scratch built and based on small towns in Ohio & Pennsylvania from the 1960s to 1970s. It has two interchanges. A Car Card system is used by 5 operators for intricate switching. The yardmaster builds trains & spots arrivals. This layout uses an NCE wireless system, and all locomotives have sound. Highlights include an operating coal mine and a steam engine to transport coal. One town specifically deals in scrap loads, while another branch line has small industries and a limestone factory. Scenery is 95% completed.
