UNION VPACIFIC RAILROAD Southeastern Wyoming

Terry Kolenc

HO Scale

The layout models the Union Pacific Railroad in Southeastern Wyoming featuring the facilities in Cheyenne and several easily recognizable scenes on Sherman Hill to the West. The time period represented is changed periodically with the early 1960's equipment currently in operation. The layout completely fills a 1900 square foot basement and can be operated on DC or DCC. Most of the railroad structures have been scratch built from UP plans and there are a number of scratch built or highly kit-bashed locomotives and rolling stock. The layout was featured in the January 2014 issue of the NMRA magazine and participated in the bus tours of the 2014 NMRA National Convention.
