Come see something different with a 10 x 26 ‘S’ Scale (1/64th) layout. 23% larger than HO. Many call ‘S’ the perfect scale. This is a retired 10 x 26 portable travelling layout built by the late Doug Evans from Batesville IN.

Built as a Midwest free-lance travelling layout. It was a Holiday attraction at the Batesville Public Library and local shows for many years. It traveled its final journey to my basement in 2013 when the owner gave it up. Two track mainline. NCE DCC on the inside loop, passing sidings and freight sidings. Switchable DC/DCC on the outside. Mainlines are not connected.

Far western edge of the C&O interchanging with some Indiana Railroads. B&O, Chicago Great Western, NKP, Rock Island, Norfolk & Western. Currently, mixed freight operations.

Many one of a kind locomotives, cars and structures collected from different estates. Come break that “there is nothing in ‘S’ myth”. Be surprised. Also, see the proposed plans for the future to double the size of the Railroad.
