This large 32 x 36 layout represents the Middle Division - Mount Union to Altoona - on the Pennsylvania RR. Dave models the 1946 to 1954 era and uses Steam and Diesel on his heavy service – multi track - 400 foot main line. Logging operations on an 8 ½ % grade are supported by Shays – Heislers – and Climax geared loco’s. Trackwork features two helixes and hand laid switches – and has advanced DC power.
